You don't "use" the pegasus boots, cross, rings, etc. Their affect takes place automatically.

And there actually are no Pegassus Boots, just Boots that let you walk on most damaging tiles.

Don't they allow you to walk on ALL damage combos?

    Just once more:

Just once more... I want to hear you.
Have you tell me everything is ok.
Just once more... I want to touch you.
Holding you... made me feel special in a way.
Just once more... I want to see you.
With that smile cast upon your beautiful face.
Just once more... I want to hear you.
Say you love me... and tell me nobody could take my place.

I believe so, unless said damage combo is unwalkable. But that should be obvious.

The walkability thing is being talked about in a thread in Suggestions... for some reason. But it's going places...:)

Of course, you could make the boots use magic. You could even alter the appearance of the boots into a nifty amulet or something, thus giving it a reason to use magic power.

BS animation of water uses pallete cycling, unless you could ask Vel for some pics of the animation Bs water tiles. He knows the most about BS of all of us. I know nought about pallete cycling, so ask around.

AlphaDawg's tutorial has a simple explanation of how to use pallete cycling. It should get you going somewhere.
