Based soley on the amount of work a programmer does, he/she deserves about $200,000 a year. However, most programmers are paid between $40,000 and $150,000, depending on what they do, where they work, and how much they work. Its one of those things you have to do for the challenge and enjoyment of it, instead of the money. It takes a lot of dedication.

Ditto with vegeta. Programming is sooooo fun, especially when you're using it to make stuff like games. I love computers, and would probably be up there in terms of ability with inori or vegeta, but I'm only 15 and am unable to take any classes. Oh, and the money is real nice as well, despite the vast amount of work we have to do.

It depends who you work for and what you are working on. You could find a site perhaps that may give a average rate or estimate. I really don't care about money from doing it, I just wanna program things for the fun of it. :p

Thx, guys!! I'm thinking of becoming either a computer programmer, or a game programer... I was thinking about an architect, but I don't think I'd enjoy that too much...

umm..No.. See, I'm 15, and I'm already taking English Comp 1 this fall...(plus 10th grade and piano lessons... ) Next semester, I'll be going full time... So just because you're 15 dosen't mean anything!

He means that because he is at the age of 15, he hasn't had to take the college courses as, well, people in college.

Well, I've had OZ for a while, and from what I've done of scripting in small, programing should be just as fun!! I enjoy it... I just hope I can get one of the programing jobs that pays 150 instead of 40 a year!!
