    Sound problem in zc192beta163

    The music in zc192beta163 is on so hi frequensy, how do i fix it
    does enyone know? This is when you start the windows version, dos version does not have sound on my compaq laptop with a integated soundcard and Windows 98 Second Edition.

    Integated sound cards are always old versions, I think that's why. Other than that, try fiddling with AGsetup and see what happens.

    Do you mean just the background music or the music and the sound effects? If just the music, try setting your midi driver (under agsetup.exe) to "MPU - 401" if it is available. It tends to give the best results without conflicting with your sound effects.

    PS: Sound is handled by Allegro, a game library, and not directly by ZC. Because of this, there is nothing DN could do to fix the sound, therefore it isn't exactly a bug in ZC. So, I'm going to move this to ZC Discussion. Don't worry, there isn't really any way you could've known about this.
