WHEN I TRY TO RUN ZELDA 1.92 BETA IT WILL GET TO ALLOCATING QUEST DATA BUFFERS THEN SAY ERROR.AND WHEN I TRY TO LOAD ZQUEST IT SAYS ALLOCATING DATA AND SAYS ERROR.I HAVE DOWNLOADED EVERY FILE FOR THE DOS VERSION BUT IT WONT WORK WHAT DO I NEED TO DO

WELL ITS BOTH 1.92 ZELDA AND 1.92 zQUEST.They both get this error

Then why don't you get 163? Or is that what your having problems with? And get it for windows, it should have that fixed.

If you get an error while allocating buffers, that's usually a sign of memory depletion. How much RAM do you have?

well it works for my big computer(its one of those new ones)
but i cant get it to work on my laptop it has 8mb of ram other zelda games work but you cant veiw the map because the crappy 8mb of ram

8MB is not enough, I think you need at least 40MB (I know 32MB isn't enough).

noooooooo noooooooo oh well I will just get a ram upgrade its gonna cost a bundle though it needed an upgrade anyway having zelda 1.92 will be worth it.

Yes, 40mb of ram seems to be required now, atleast with the windows version. But even my pentium 100mhz had 40mb of ram :p
