That's a parody of Electronic Gaming Monthly's worst games ever feature. The 3 CD-I Zelda's tied for the place they were in. A lot of that was copied word for word with some things changed to make it funnier.
Except he left out some cursing in the EGM edition, for obvious reasons. (Parents who overprotect their kids and think that a curse word is gonna make their kids blow up their school)

Hahaha... I've never seen a good review for that game. This happens to be the worst review of it I've ever seen.
It is pretty funny though how after reading that article I seem to know less about wand of gamelon than I did before... hmmm
