how do i apply tiles to ZQuest?

What do you mean? Like, new graphics? In that case, just go to quest>tiles. Choose the tile you want, choose to grab or edit. When you grab, a file list appears. Just choose the file, and then the tile you want.

What file format are these downloaded files in? .bmp, .gif, .til, .zgp?

If .zpg is the file extension, go to File-->Import-->Graphics Pack and browse until you find your file.

at the left hand side there's a section about importing tiles, if you can't find your answer there it's not possible :smoking:
