That's what I did before the addition of layers... not bad, but not as good as it could be. I remember the change it made to the Warcraft graphics title screen so I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers as to how to do a better job of ripping it.

It would appear to me that you ripped it just fine, excellent work even . Just use the layers to give it the color
Well, you could always make certain "objects" which use a certain palette. I'm not sure what exactly, but you could have, maybe his face be one full palette. Then the junk on the left and right. And then the title.. and that would be 3 which would be good. And then just paste them on top of each other..

actually, I like the first pic better, more color accents. But some pics can look great without layers too ya know
