I can't open zquest. Well, I can open the file, but I can't do anything with it. My monitor goes black, and makes the static sound identical to when I turn it off. Same thing happens with upgrade.exe, though ZC itself works fine. any ideas?

I'm guessing you're talking about version 1.90, right?
Well what version of Windows are you running?

i'm running win98 se. this happens with the the zquest and update.exe packaged with 1.90, as well as all three programs (those two and ZC) under 1.92. With 1.92, I hear audio for ZC, but i get nothing on my monitor.
This isn't actually an editor question, moving to ZC discussion.
The name might be missleading, I'm not jigglypuff.
