I have decided to work on a little quest loosly based of the Lolo series. It will be puzle based, and will have custom maps(not too graphical, Zelda 3 ish) and such. I've worked out the first dungeon and I'm going to make an overworld too.
The quest will be for beta 152 since it is out.
Oh, one more thing. I promise not to use the Lolo theme song since it has been driving me crazy for the past few days.

I was planning on making a lolo puzzle game for a rpgmaker2000 and almost succeeded, if my co-programmer hadn't quit.

How about using traps that look like daggers, covered on a higher layer by the medusa tile?

I'm using the traps for the Don medusas, I think I could make the wizrobes or cracky the medusa. Not perfect, but meh.

BTW, did you hear that someone from a rom hacking group(makes hacks of nes and such roms) called DES(Dragon Eye Studios), is making a Lolo 1 and 2 levle editor? It's going to be called Vile and will edit both games(since their data is similar). The game data is compressed like the dickens, I tried to edit it manually and I haven't got much in the way of a level playable.
