    About Fragments of Power, level 8

    This was written to me by Foxx, and personally, it made me REALLY happy that I went through the agony of trying to map out level 8 first before making it:
    Well, I finally dropped the infernal level 8 just now. It's excellently and aesthetically designed and all, but gee whillickers, can you say "spaghetti"? It took me FOREVER and an ETERNITY to finally get everything in it, and the only way to succeed is to identify the passages you can see (but can't get you) and track them along for several rooms until you know where to enter them. It achieves a level of convolution that outdoes even all of PrinceMSC's levels. It would bust brain stems in lesser people, but if complexity is what you're going for, way to go!

    I always map out my levels now. :) They come out 100% better, and if you don't map your levels out, start doing so.

    lol, L8 was where I'd gotten about 60% of my deaths at! Trying to figure out where I'd been, looking at my cheat sheat (walkthough notes..lol), knudging the cats off the laps, the monitor, in front of the screen, etc., and for the enemies at the same time... cats & enemies won!

    I have to agree with Foxx. 'Tis a great job!

    well for those that did like it, level 7 in my next quest will have the same convoluted premise as level 8! Lots of workarounds and maze-like structure. So what will that leave for level 8? Play and find out!
