Unfortunately, I have both these problems: I try to make every screen perfect and I get bored and take long breaks...

Simply: Perfectionism + Long breaks = Little progress :confuse2:

The important thing is to just have fun, though, so everyone should just make quests their own way and at their own pace.

I agree with that last statement. If I were not having fun, I wouldn't be making quests.

Anyway, taking breaks is good. I usually brainstorm on new ideas to implement during breaks.

Lots of times I get sick of working on a quest, and run out of ideas, so then I work on another quest, and eventually go back to the first one. This is the reason I have so many different quests, I keep changing which one I'm working on, so I don't get bored of them as easily.

ya, im definitely gonna calm down and try to have fun with zquest again, but at the same time i do not want to go so slow my quest wont be finished for the contest (also,seeing how cyclone will staple my nuts to a tree for wasting these beta versions)

so i have alot of work left, but ill try to not let it bother me.

also, damn school.....it gets in the way of so much other (funner) things.
