Somebody telling me I am wrong with Zelda!?

This kid on eBay is selling a "brand new" Adventure of Link game. I was interested, and asked (because it did not look it) if it was sealed.

He said Nintendo did not seal there games.

He is from Britain, so I thought it was a cultural misunderstanding, and nicely explained Nintendo shirnk wraps all its products for sale, and ships to stores, which then mark them with price tags. At least, in the US. I saw his was a US version, and said either he opened it, or hoped he bought it knowing it should have had that wrap to be "new".

He wrote back saying I am "not knowing", and that his is brand news, and none of them come in shrink wrap.

I nicely sent him a pic of my game shrink wrapped, with the damn sticker from Toys R Us still on the wrap. Hope he feels stupid now.

There is so much wrong with his claim. A company is going to make a product to sell, put it in a box that is not sealed that passes through many peoples hands before it reaches the shelf, then sit on a shelf for who knows how long before it is bought, then the consumer takes a crap shoot to purchase a box that may or may not have product in it? Man....I can see Wal-Mart having a huge tub-o-underwear, just walk up and pull out what you need.......

They don't seal their games if they are pre-owned, hence the auction could not be for a "brand new" game. Nintendo does seal games, EB sells new games shrink wrapped, does not shrinkwrap pre-owned games, and as far as pre-owned goes, they say "Instructions and original packaging may not be included". OF COURSE HE'S LYING!!! Nintendo stopped making nes games. Unless they rereleased it for another system, I highly doubt it is brand new. You have captured him in his own lie...

I could believe it was brand new if it were factory sealed, people buy stuff and put it away, so it could be coming out of collection, the beef is when he said it was brand new but not sealed, that is crap.
