Did you set a guy? You have to or the strings won't show up.

Yeah. For things like that, I prefer to move the fire to another spot in the tile pages, change the reference to it under Quest->Sprites->Weapons/Misc (so that candle and wand fire still looks okay), and make the guy be fire.

Any ideas why this might not work?
I have Link a tile from the bottom touching the right side, and after two strings you press right to side warp, but it won't go.
Put him a tile or two up, so that he's not in a corner area. If you have the game starting on that screen, remember to use the green square instead of the blue.
