Chrono Trigger or Chrono Cross

I love Chrono Trigger. It is one of the best games ever.

Yah chrono trigger is the best, though CC was a good game it dosent compare to the god of RPGS Chrono Trigger

Chrono Cross could have been better if they added more Double and Triple techs.. I guess there are some in there, but I didn't find one playing the game I always thought that was one of the cool parts of Chrono Trigger..

Otherwise Cross was pretty good, but Chrono Trigger is the best :)

I haven't played Cross, but I hope to in the future. I'll have to let you know what I think about them when I do. But, I doubt Cross will top Trigger in my books.

I liked Chrono Cross better, the storyline may not have been as involved characterwise as Chrono Trigger, but I liked its story better none the less. Also, the element system for battle was just brilliant, and made fighting battles alot more fun, and particularly strategic.

There are, to my knowledge at least, double techs, and require that two characters are able to use their techs(have the element level) and both be able to use them at the same time(so if you switched from one character to the next, either one could use their tech). The only double tech I found was Serge and Glenn's X-Slice or X-croxx, can't remember which. It was a red elemental tech(probably from the combinaton of Serges white Dash Slide and Glenn's similar green tech). It was really powerful though, for a mere level 3 tech.

Chrono Trigger, I never could understand people's affection for it... it was a great RPG, but at the time I played it, I was convinced it was not even as good as Final Fantasy 3.

I've never played Chrono Cross, so I guess Chrono Trigger would be my favorite of the two.

flame me if you wish, but i honestly must say that despite the fact i havent played cross yet, i must say i would like trigger better. even though i have yet to play it, cross doesnt seem like my cup of tea right now. maybe later.
