The frequency of this question almost made me go insane at one point.

But because it's been a while since last asked, I can easily forgive you for not knowing the answer . All you have to do is either:

    A) Load a custom quest by pressing ALT twice and finding a quest file in your Zelda Classic folder, such as newfirst.qst. This will also allow you to play those sorts of custom quests .
    B) Hit ESC to bring the menu up, and goto Misc->Quest Dir. Just browse to your Zelda Classic folder and click OK to change your quest directory.

It's Warlord's fault that you have this problem. He had his own save file in it when he packaged 1.90 and the quest directory for that is set to something incredibly bizarre.
People who think they know everything are very irritating to those of us who do.

Also note that 1st.qst and 2nd.qst must be in the same dir as the executables. I store my quests in C:\Dir to\Zelda Classic\Quests\, and if 1st.qst and 2nd.qst are in the dir and not in the main dir, ZC won't run.
