Yep, I used the old Revenge 2 method of using Tilewarps and Sidewarps so I can have music in my shops, potions shops, pay for infos, secret moneys, etc type rooms when screen 80 'could' suffice. Unfortunately, when you use this method in the new beta. NO STRINGS will be displayed on screen. Sure you hear the 'beep, beep, beep' of strings displaying on the screen, but you see nothing of what the 'Guy' is saying, might want to fix this!

sorry, my bad, it seemed, when I updated to beta 152, it deleted all my strings from the qst file I was working on. I had like 30+ something strings. Now they're all gone. Crap...

What did you upgrade from? I know that one of the older betas had that problem, but I thought I had fixed it already.
