    Question Layer usage

Well, I just need to know how you use layers i.e. how do you get from one layer to the next, can you use different enemies on different layer, and how does the layer system use screens. I think I heard somebody say you have to use the same screens on the same map or something

If you can't tell, I don't know much about this stuff

Ok...I'm gonna break down the layers for ya.:)

1, 2 & 3. These are the ground layers, and the only one you can have enemies on is 1.
4 & 5. These are the ground overhead layers. Use these for like trees and stuff. You can walk under them, but flying enemies still go over them.
5 & 6. These are the sky layers. Everything goes under them.

    Now to use layers.
Layer 1 is just what you draw on the screen.
The rest of them...What you do is find a blank screen, and just put the stuff you want to walk under on it. Also, make sure you surround the stuff with blank tiles.
Now, go to the screen where you want the stuff to show up.
Click "Data -->Layers". Put the map # and screen # of whatever layer you want. You can use them all if you want.
    How's that?
