Well, with the slash-item combo, does it sometimes leave magic if the magic rule is checked? I don't remember ever getting magic from it. If not, then it is a bug. It should give small and RARELY big magic containers.

actually , it isnt a bug if its not intended to behave like that. It might not be intended to behave like that. you cant just go around claiming things are bugs when theyre not. Who knows , it could be like that on purpose. IT isnt designed to clone LTTP after all. its a clone,with added features, of "The Legend of Zelda" , if youve ever heard of that.
So dont call things bugs just cause it doesnt behave like YOU want it to ...
Magic under bushes and pots are actually items in LTTP. The closest thing you can do is slap flag 10 under it. You just can't have more than one on a screen, nor can you have normal items as well.
