Question This might be in the wrong forum, but...

How do you import tiles into ZQuest?

Okay, here is what I do. Tell me what I'm doing wrong.

I want some newfirst tiles. I go to the Tileshop. Duh. I see a spritesheet done by Warlock that looks really cool. It says: "To download, right click and select 'Save target as'" So I save them. I notice they are a JPG. When I go to ZQuest and try to grab a tile from the JPG, the colors are all screwed up and the pixels are all jumbled! I know it's not the wrong pallette... please help!

I find that you must usually save them as a 256 colour bitmap. You could use photo editor or paint

The sentence "To download, right click and select 'Save target as'" is a link. Right-click on the link to save the bitmap version of the file that you can actually use. The .jpg is just so you can see what it looks like. :)
