I can get Chaotix to run on AGES, but it is EXTREMELY slow. I think modern computers just aren't powerful enough to emulate 32X. Either that or the emulators are no good.
BTW, I think I had to download a BIOS file to put in my AGES folder to make Chaotix work.
As of yet RetroDrive does not yet support fully Knuckles Chaotix. I know how you feel, cause I get stuck at the exact same spot. I tried about four different versions of the rom too. I guess we'll just have to wait.
Oh yeah, AGES can play Knucles Chaotix fully. However, as Glenn said, it is very slow and putting frameskip on would make it extremely fast in terms of gameplay while being very choppy. This is on an Athlon XP 1800+ too.

You're not the only one that it happens to. I forget the emulator I used, but it also got stuck in the loop there. And Glenn, modern computers are more than capable. It's just a matter of good, fast, and efficant emulators being written.
