Is there a Zelda 1 NES Remake with these features?

I was hoping someone in here could help me with this because there are SO MANY QUESTS available. Does anyone here know if there is a Zelda 1 NES Remake that adds the updated sword swinging mechanic and diagonal movements that we get in Link's Awakening, A Link to the Past, and other post NES Zelda games?

Nope. The only way to do that would be to pretty much re-write the NES assembler code the rom is made of. Nobody's made the attempt as far as I know. But there are some nice hacks out there. Give Zelda Challenge a try. It's been around for about twelve or thirteen years, but it's still the best. I won't post any rom/rom hack links here, but you can find it pretty easily.

ZC allows for diagonal movement and sword slashing and most quests that are recently released take advantage of these features. If you want just a quest exactly like Zelda 1 with these added I don't know if that is available but it would be very easy to make.

I'm sure several have, but I can't think of any right off the top of my head.
You might try The Titan's Quest (shameless plug!)

Matthew Bluefox made some great remakes of the original, and a couple of new ones based on the original.

If you really just want the original Zelda 1 game with sword slashing and diagonal movements, this should take you about five minutes to create. Open the 1st quest file in ZC, toggle these mechanics (which only requires you to tick the appropriate box) and you have it.

Unfortunately 1st.qst is password protected. There was an Example_1st.qst that used to be packed with ZC but I don't know where one would find that or something like it any longer.

I noticed that shortly after posting. I also don't see where these boxes are in Zelda Classic to tick. I still appreciate the help though.
