Is the dmap set as a cave or dungeon, and does it have a level # other than 0?
oops, forgot about this forum, :p, it's the overworld
Then move it to another map, and make it not an overworld. You can have a warp to go back if you need to.
so, I just put in a number. does it matter what number?
It simply must have a level # greater than 0, a non-overworld dmap type, a guy, and a string. Then, it works. So if this is a cutscene, make the dmap a dungeon or cave and make the level # greater than 0.
Try a level # of 80 - 140. These did wonders for me.
for some reason, the cutscene stopped working. I put in the intro movie, and the title screen, then, the cutscene i origionally had stopped working. can anyone help?
Sometimes, the warps have a tendancy to undo themselves for no reason. Go through the motions in ZQ, and make sure your tile/sidewarps aren't broken.
Also, if you're using pits, make sure the player has ample room to walk. Using the invis Link screenflag, along side character combos really helps with this. Personally, I give the player a specified walking area on layer 0, then place the room design on layer 3.
