I can confirm this is happening to me as well. The problem is that either: 1) The game shoots the character upward into a solid tile. It results in the game not working at all. 2) The game thinks the character is on a solid tile and won't acknowledge any button presses.
Either way, I don't know what's causing the quest to act like this. :\
Quests built in 1.92 betas like b182 are not officially supported, and may not play correctly in 2.50. It is strongly recommended to only play beta quests in the appropriate beta version of the ZC player.
While that may be desired, I thought one of the main goals of ZC 2.50 was backwards compatibility with at least the versions of ZC made available on the AGN website? (Admittedly I forget if 1.92b182 was ever officially released like the b183 and b184 versions.)
Backwards compatibility for official/supported releases not betas. It may be desirable to play any and all quests in one version but it isn't a practical goal for Developers. 1.90 and 2.10 (I believe) are the only versions that are supported for compatibility. When those betas were released quest makers were warned not to use them for their projects because they might not be supported with the next release.
A shame, but I can understand.
This is fixed.
This would also apply to 2.10, but it's a very particular issue that I doubt affects any other quests. In previous versions, if the game starts on DMap 0 and it's a dungeon DMap, Link wouldn't walk onto the screen like he normally would when entering a dungeon.
Yeah so I'll keep reporting issues that occur in 1.92b183 and 1.92b184 quests as they may indeed be problems that occur in quests made in 1.90 and 2.10 too. I'm not terribly familiar with the level editor so I'm not able to create test quests for many of the situations you can encounter in quests, limiting my ability to determine if the problem is limited to just 1.92b183 and/or 1.92b184 quests.
