Breaker, can you edit the link to the tutorial in your first post and add in /forums?
Also, can you edit the server information in the newbie guide that it links to?
Thanks.
another mirc script that I can personally recommend is NoNameScript
http://www.nnscript.de/
it has a few features that would be more useful to gamers than anyone else, but overall the script is very solid, is very well organized, very easy to get set up, and the development team seems to always be on top of new versions of mIRC and authentication bots.
You know, this is one of the problems.
I'm in #AGN right now, there are several members online, and no-one's saying anything.
That's how it always seems, and I'm kinda giving up.
Oh all right. Maybe I'll get miRC and stop by. It's been abou 2 re-formats since I've even had chat, and even then I never used it when I had it. So which is it; thepentagon #agn?
Also the tutorial link is broken.
You were in the room for a total of twenty minutes....what do you expect? Sometimes people have lives to live...or games to play. If we had more people that actually came to chat, there would be more of a chance for conversation. :D
20:07… The_Amaster has joined #AGN
20:08… The_Amaster: woo-hoo, some people are actually in #AGN
20:08… The_Amaster: I've waited a while for this
20:10… The_Amaster: *sighs* assuming nayones paying attention, that is...
20:27… The_Amaster has quit IRC (Client closed connection)
20:48… × Guest7938718 shakes his head
20:48… Guest7938718: ...
20:48… Guest7938718 is now known as Zaphod
20:49… Zaphod: BUT I WAITED THREE MINUTES AND NOBODY TALKED TO MEEH!!! #AGN SUCKS!
And, no...it's not thepentagon anymore, its irchighway.net ;)
Yeah, this basically summarizes the problem. I come in sometimes, if no one's there or active, that's fine; I'll stick around, say something, or leave and come back later. I can't idle all day, but I'm not going to let some dead time discourage me from trying again. When people are active, it's worth it.
Well, yeah, I wasn't expecting a hive of activity, but after twenty minutes I'd think someone'd say something.
And I'm just to lazy to download the program in the first place. I'll get around to it eventually....
