How do I set the start position of Link?

well yeah I did make a seperate Dmap. i made the room and everything.

Try direct warps! If you copy the shop map and paste it in screen 80,
you can use a direct warp from the shop to get there.
(not sure if that works in 2.11)

If I decided to look through the rest of this thread myself, I probably would find it quite helpful. Considering the fact that you're getting help from the experts and professionals, I think that many other zquest newbies/rookies and all would probably find this slightly - greatly helpful as well.
