That's why we need a desperate rewrite.
Meh, fixed graphics and a flashy interface. It'll get clogged by poor coding practices and they'll lose interest as they get into more complicated mechanics.
Zelda Classic is more of a game maker engine than a tribute now anyway.
Yeah, besides, we all know what happened the last time someone bought into hype and accused ZC of "thinking small", LOL.
@CJC
I know right, that shows you how much nintendo done fucked up again. :distant:
@ctrl-alt-delete
Hey we should start a new agn project called RealMaker that puts mario maker to shame but doesn't use any of mario makers graphics or sounds just functionality and what not so nintendo doesn't sell our corpses to the Yakuza.
That list has a severe lack of "night time stage"
Definitely not time to give up. Yeah, Zelda Classic has it's flaws, but this new one will definitely not meet the same needs that our current userbase demands. If anything, hardcore Zelda Classic Quest Creators should be promoting this program across social media sites such as Twitter and YouTube and showing what it can do. Don't mind me. I'm drunk.
Neat-o.
In-game editing seems like it would be much easier than an actual editor to me (I'm probably just saying that because I hate GUI's, but..). I don't see what the big deal is... Obviously you'd need an actual editor for most the stuff, but throwing down enemies and tiles with mouse clicks isn't any more difficult than anything else, really. Meh.
@Gleeok
Purple is our least favorite color.
In english: Me too gleeok, me too.
Bump, got smacked down by Nintendo...

Hoy shiiiit... I have no idea what's going on right now dood. whoa...there...
Let me see if I've got this right: These guys want $40,000 to make a game with shareable levels called legend-maker in game-maker? $40,000 to make a game-maker game?!
Maybe I'm just really stoned right now or something...but, idk man. Crazy.
Honestly I haven't heard of this before now. I've seen some Kickstarters go a similar route (via Game-Maker or similar programs), but they generally asked for a LOT less. Like, barely $1000 to get the program (if they didn't already have it), pay artists, ad space, etc.
You guys are still here? I already threw in the towel when this was posted.
So this makes me wonder how Graal Classic was never given the ol' C&D notice from Nintendo.
