#AGN Internet Relay Chatroom
Current Server Address: irc.irchighway.net
Channel: #AGN
The preferred IRC client to use is mIRC. You're not required to register it and it can still be used long after it expires.. Advanced mIRC users may find the mIRC script UPP to be pretty useful. Full of features and goodies.
Newbies: Please read through the following tutorials

Re: INFO: #AGN Internet Relay Chatroom
Are we required to register our nicknames on the server? And if so, how do we do that? I don't use IRC much, and when I go into chat I usually just go in.
Re: INFO: #AGN Internet Relay Chatroom
No you're not. Just a suggestion.
Re: INFO: #AGN Internet Relay Chatroom
I'm using Mazilla @ the moment, by server you mean the same as network right?
If not, which network should I connect to, here is the list of available networks:
dalnet, efnet, freenode, hybridnet, moznet, quakenet, slashnet, undernet, webbnet
btw. the link 'Poorly Structured mIRC Tutorial' doesn't work anymore.
Re: INFO: #AGN Internet Relay Chatroom
you need to create a new network called 'irc.cyber2k.net'
Re: INFO: #AGN Internet Relay Chatroom
Oke worked, did take a few minutes but I'm in :)

Anyone who uses Firefox can get chatzilla. It's a plugin that works with mirc. Here is the link.
A little bit different but kinda cool.
