So I moved into the new dorms yesterday. They got "finished being built" as of 9 am yesterday, but they'll still be doing work on them for a month or two to really finish the little things. They are niiiiice. It costs 2600 a semester to live here, plus a 1700 dollar meal plan. I'm pretty much living in a really nice hotel. I have my own huge room, and I share a living space with another dude, and we have a sink, microwave, and minifridge that we share. It's pretty amazing. If anyone's actually interested, I can show some pictures.
Somehow, I am. o.o! Please, indulge. ^^. It's cheaper than a hotel, I'd think. $80 a day for a regular hotel of such a quality, I suppose, times 30 days a month, times four months, is about $9600. Good show. What does the dollar meal usually get you in terms of meals?
(You know, I'm just waiting for someone to breach the subjects of overeating, spoiled children today, or the dangers of television)
Dude, what collage do you go to? I wanna go there.(Assuming they offer an Engineering/Architecture degree) That sounds like a great dorm. Some pics would be awsome.
Dorms suck. I don't know how anyone can stand to share space with another human being. I have my own apartment.
Oooooohhhhh yeah.
Which you share with another human being. Given, she's probably hot, and a person of your choosing, but still.
Dorms do suck though, unless you luck out like Dech and get one of the new ones. Always felt bad for the kids who go to William and Mary and get stuck in the dorm that was built in the 1600's.
Damn that's a nice dorm!
And I thought that my dorms were nice: a bed, a wardrobe, a desk, and a cupboard.
