Sweet. Maybe now someone can beat Colossal at something... :P How anyone can ever get so good at so many crappy flash games is beyond me.
Also; is it somewhat obvious to new users what they have to do to be able to post in the "specialized" groups/forums? (It looks like not everyone has notices all these..?)
Lol, agreed about Colossal.
Do you mean New Users to upgrade from Welcome to AGN to all forums, or for everybody to be able to post in Forum Games/Think Tank?
If it's the former, we're still testing the effectiveness of the spam blocks before we do away with that system. It was always meant to be temporary, but I didn't think I would get FTP access so rapidly. If for some reason it proves to still be necessary, all new users will be forced to view a topic simply asking them to post on why they want to join. Simple enough.
If it's the latter, every member has been/will be forced to read the thread telling them how to access those optional forums. Or at least should have been/should be. Did you get forced to read it yourself?
Ah, gotcha. I did get that (along with a password expiration) message, but didn't realize it was mandatory.
I'm sure some of you guys remember Acmlm's board. The one thing that really stood out to me on that board was the Header field that you got. It was essentially, a second signature field that appeared before your post entry. People would take advantage of that with HTML tables to make really cool post layouts. These ranged from video game inspired (making the posts look like they're from a video game, sprites and all) or anime, or just whatever. I think the potential of having a feature like that might make some people want to keep posting to see the interactivity of it all.

Maybe it's just on my end, but I'm not seeing any online button next to a person's profile, just text. For example:

It would be nice to be able to see the forum archives as well. I don't understand why those are hidden now.
And finally, a while ago, there was a way you could check the recent additions or subtractions to your reputation, and it would list out who have you rep you've received lately, from which member, on which post. I can't find it anymore, so if it's been removed, it would be nice to have back. And if it hasn't been removed, making it a bit easier to find might be nice.
The images to classic black will be restored in mid-September. In the meantime, I'll install a few new themes. It was already on the list, but we'll make it next priority.
ctrl-alt-delete answered that question above. Anyway,
Will look into that.Quote:

I've just restored functionality to that part of the profile page. Check to see if you've got it?Quote:

Erm, the usergroup giving you access to Tasty Edibles also gives you access to Think Tank, which I'm not a member of.
Thanks. Permissions are a lot more fine-tuned than IPB forums, but also a lot more .. uh .. "tunnel-vision" in operation, for lack of a better word.
