That's a good idea. I've seen some just include the images as the alternate text for imgurls, but I think it would work best to include the captions underneath images.
...and add a little humor to some of the captions. (EX: in an image from the NES version of Top Gun showing some missles headed your way, crack a joke about flaming bowling balls of doom. )
Re: Want to help with the new AG site?
Whoa, what's going on here? I'd like to change a tiny thing in my Zelda II review, but I can't. However, I can edit my Pinball Wizard one.
Re: Want to help with the new AG site?
O_o
odd, this was 20 minutes ago? I just closed the review for archival reasons maybe 3 minutes ago. Still, I'll open them all up if you'd rather have it that way.
when you think you're about done, I'd suggest closing them again for good measure.
Re: Want to help with the new AG site?
Okay, thanks, I appreciate it. :)
EDIT: Hey, the main page's stat bar says that there are 13 reviews, but there are really 18 (currently). Also, I posted this in another thread, but I think that there should also be Genesis and TurboGrafx categories. After all, those two systems are on the Wii's VC, and I'd be able to write some Genesis reviews (Sonics 1, 2, 3, S&K; Battletoads [which I have screenshots for]; and a few more). Just my two cents.
Re: Want to help with the new AG site?
I tried to review Crystalis and I failed miserably. I'm a terrible writer. I'll try again later maybe. Meh.
Re: Want to help with the new AG site?
Does anyone else agree with me about the 2 extra consoles? ō.ō
I was kind of wondering how the plans to fix ZC.com were going. I would absolutely l:heart:ve to help.
Re: Want to help with the new AG site?
In agreement with Pineconn...
...might I suggest an arcade category?
Re: Want to help with the new AG site?
That's a good idea, too. Though weren't most early arcade games ported to the NES? Obviously except for modern arcades.
Re: Want to help with the new AG site?
Most arcades that got ported to the NES saw many different changes, worthy of their own review. such is the case between Salamander for Arcade and Life Force for NES.
oh, and this is interesting: I did some digging around and it seems that by "Review closed", it means no new comments can be made (no wonder we haven't been getting any.) So, forget what I said before about archival reasons. ( >_<*)
Re: Want to help with the new AG site?
Yeah, I noticed that, too, lol. I was kind of wondering about it, but I didn't really say anything. ;)
Oh, and you have a good point about the differences in ports. I say go for it.
