Defeat the Wizrobes and push a block.
Thanks. I thought I pushed them all.
Anyway, now I'm stuck at the end of the level. First off... Wow, this level was something. Mostly because of the Wizrobes. I'm glad I found out how powerful the hammer is as a weapon in this game.
But now I'm just before the last three rooms (Triforce, Boss, and I'm assuming a Goriya who wants my crystal) but the door before I get to those is locked and I'm missing a key. I've draw a map as I went and marked about every key I've found, but I must be overlooking somthing. The 4th room in the 3rd floor I thought might have it, but when I got into it, I just found the new money purse.
Any chance I can get a key list for this level so I cna check it against the keys I have marked on my map? Thanks.
BTW, is the Hearts needed to use the MAgic Sword the same as the oiginal game?
answere from rocksfan
It's kinda hard to point out what you may have missed. But I would assume that you missed a walkthru wall somewhere that leads to a key. Are there any rooms that you are missing?
Yes, the magic sword is the same as the original.
Not unless there's another hidden room (I've found a couple) that's not on the in game map. The map I've drawn as I went matches up with the ingame map and I've hit all the rooms save the last 3. I guess I'll just have to go to every room again. There arn't any wallthrough walls that have off-center entrances are there? Or bombable walls not marked with a crack? Thanks.
EDIT: Well, the point may be moot. I got hit by a red bubble that took away the use of my B items, and got killed before I could hit a blue one. Now I'm at the start of the level with no B Items. That means I can't bomb my way through the hole in the floor a few rooms up (which leads only a couple of rooms away from some bubbles that can help me). And taking the long back way involves Wizrobes and things that kill me before I get to far because I can't use potions or stronger weapons. I'll keep trying but man, this game just got harder.
If you have gotten the items from that level, move onto level 8. When you finish 8, you'll be able to finish 7.
Seems I was confusing this quest with another. Keys cannot be bought in this quest. It was the original Link's Retirement that you could. Fear not however. The Magic key is in level 8.
Hooray! I just need to fix my problem of no B-weapons. :( Feh. But If I can just make it past the Fire Wizrobes room with just my White sword and 10 hearts and that tiny space you end up in when taking the short cut, I'll be golden. Then I'll try to hunt down Level 8, see what I can do there, find that Big Key and straighten myself out. Even if I find no more Heart peices, Finishing Levels 5 and 7 will get me the MAgic Sword. Thanks.
EDIT: Wow... I started my game up this morning and my B-Weapons are back. Nice. I guess I just had to restart the program or somthing, because last night, saving and restarting didn't help. And I remember being in this spot once as a kid with Zelda 1 and restarting not fixing. Cool, now to just find out where LEvel 8 is. I read somewhere in this thread that it's in "The Forest" Well, that's the two screen area where you find Level 7 (according to the location names on the map), but where is it. Do I need to burn the whole place down? One would assume it would require somthing you get in LEvel 8, but I don't see Blue Blocks or any large rocks.
That forest is accessed by backtracking from the level 7 entrance into the passage and hitting the torch on the top with that newly aquired wand and book.
Oooh yeah. I've been in there to get the heart peice int he Plains. But I went befor eI had the bracelet yet, so I forgot about those boulders I couldn't push. ^^; Thanks.
Any tips on taking on White Wizrobes? I'm in Level 8, 3rd Floor and they're kicking my butt. Fourth Room to the Right and 4 down, two Whities, a blue block I can't hit cuz of a statue, and I can't explore it because 3 hits and I'm dead.
The room right before it has a key in a chest, but I can't get the chest. Any hints on that too? Probably somthing simple I'm overlooking.
The white wizzrobes are mirrorobes. You need the mirror shield to beat them.
