Re: Zelda's Quest for Link released!
I found it. Thanks for the help. I went to go through every room so I can take a screen cap of what my map looks like for you (for some reason, in this level, when I save and restart, the map clears... dont' knwo if it does this on all). Turns out that when I got the Boss Key, and after travelling aallll the way back to where the hookshot is, I forgot about the hookshotable(that a word? :P) path right befoe the Peahats and Pots room, that lead to the extortionist Moblin and the underground room with a key. Thanks alot.
Re: Zelda's Quest for Link released!
EDIT: Sorry about the repost. My compute went wonky.
But I do want to say I'm still missing that Crystal. If I didn't need to get to work, I'd explore a little more, though I've no idea where I'm missing it. According to my maps, I seem to have been everywhere I can go. If you want to give me a hint on here, I jkust won't come back to this thread until I've exhausted my options. :)

Re: Zelda's Quest for Link released!
Thanks for the help, but it seems I'm messed up again. My last remaining key (that I needed past the Crystal Goriya) dissapeared somwhere. I specifically remember having one, then somewhere between searching for the Crystal and going to that last door past the Goriya, it vanished. Maybe it got used up when I opened the big Chest the Crystal was in. :(
So now I don't have a key to get to the boss and get that peice of the triforce.
The entire Level 5 felt a bit glitchy. Some time after getting the Compass, it and the Tirforce blip dissappeard from my inventory adn map, though the Compass wasn't back where I found it. I noticed my Big Key dissapear from the Inventory a couple of times, and several times my Start Menu map would be blank, as if I'd not been to any rooms.
I'm back to not knowing what I should do... restart the game and hope Level 5 doesn't glitch up the second time, or just go on to level 6. I thought I read that Keys will be buyable eventually? Is this true? If so, I'll leave this peice alone until then and maybe I'm OK.
Thanks for any answers. I'm LOVING this game and would hate to leave it unfinished.

The reason it seems that way it the way I set some of the rooms. You can thank 2.10 for that. If you play the 3rd sequel you run into the "glitches" as well due to the version that it was made in. The 4th is much better but isn't anywhere close to done yet and is in the new version.
But the key was used by the big chest. Now, I'm almost certain you may have missed a room or a key in a room somewhere.
But yes, keys can be bought later, but not until around level 8. You shouldn't have to start from scratch though.
Re: Zelda's Quest for Link released!
Thanks alot. Off to Level 6 then. :D
Re: Zelda's Quest for Link released!
OK. I've been through Level 6, drew the map as I went with notes, and according to it, I've hit all the rooms, I got the Hammer and the boots, but I never found the Crystal. Any hints on where it is?
Re: Zelda's Quest for Link released!
Upper right corner room on the 3rd floor. Try the statue in the bottom left corner.
Re: Zelda's Quest for Link released!
Ahh, DOH! I musta been so excited about finding the boots to walk over spikes, that I ran right to that bombable wall, got into that room, and went right up the stairs. Thanks.
Re: Zelda's Quest for Link released!
OK, now I'm stuck on Level 7. I'm only able to get 5 rooms into the second floor. I see lantuns tha tneed to be lit by the wand, I see blocks that can only be moved with a stronger bracelet, and int he last room I could get to, there's the Fire Wizrobes and a Big Key door, which I can't reach anyway. HELP!! O_O
I wouldn't be surprised if I'm missing a walkthrough wall... but I've been around the place a few times.
