It would have been fun to test and you know it! lol
I don't have to work with anyone I don't like next week. Yay schedule changes for everyone. >->
Yeah it's a few hours away from me. I read the article at work the other morning, I'll see if I can find it again.
Why is that if you don't answer your phone the first time people feel the need to call you again and again every few minutes? Obviously if I didn't answer the first time my phone isn't on me or I didn't hear it.
No clue, but that happens at work almost every day during lunch and dinner rushes. Wish I could get to the phone, but it's ususally impossible to do so. Now if someone has the chance to get it, it's usually--
a) wrong number
b) automated advertisements
c) prank call
d) someone calling to ask if we serve Pizzones
e) they hang up right as someone pickes up the phone
Once in a great while we get some stupid haraasing phone call by a racist pig or the like. Nothing like hanging up on those people :)
Because we live in a society where instant communication is taken for granted. Most people are use to getting a hold of someone instantly almost whenever they want.
I usually just call and if I don't get them I hang up when the voice mail picks up. I'm always asked why I don't leave a message and that's because I wanted to talk to the person not the machine. Honestly, what I wanted to say typically isn't of such great importance that I need to leave a message.
Agreed.
I had something interesting to say, but I don't remember. :( So... CSIs vs Vampires, who would win?
Damnit, I accidentally broke my glasses this morning. Now I have to walk around all squinty-eyed.
I know how that feels. I had to do that for a year before I broke down and just spent the money on a new pair of glasses. :kitty:
I don't like wearing glasses. I have contacts.
And I have important contacts here and there who constantly tell me to wear my glasses, but screw 'em. :blah:
