Re: Mega Man DWR Director's Cut RELEASED
I downloaded it the first time from your site, and it didn't work for the zc183 file or the quest, but then I tried again with GetRight (a download resumer), and that couldn't even find the file. Once I uninstalled it, it worked fine through the regular windows downloader, and the quest extracted fine. I'm still working on the 183 though. I figure it might just have something to do with my evil NetZero High Speed. So it's probably no big deal.
Re: Mega Man DWR Director's Cut RELEASED
Hmm, that sounds weird. Well let's hope it's not a big deal. I always get worried when I hear the words "corrupted" and "file" in the same sentence.
Re: Mega Man DWR Director's Cut RELEASED
If anything is corrupted, it is you Petoe! :P
But about my cousin again: after seeing the 'doom' level in MMDWR my cousin wants to know are you sick or something? And I want to know when you are going to finish the walkthrough!
Re: Mega Man DWR Director's Cut RELEASED
Hey, I have to work on the MMDWR tileset. So no walkthroughs are coming soon unless someone wants to make one. But that doesn't mean I don't have time to help people who are stuck with the quest.
And people who have finished the quest, remember to post your reviews. ;)
Re: Mega Man DWR Director's Cut RELEASED
You know, I hate to be the bringer of bad news... again... but I've run into a serious problem with the Iso Dome. Again.
Ahem. Great quest so far, just as before. I'll try and find somewhere to host the screenie and PM you with the details.
Re: Mega Man DWR Director's Cut RELEASED
The problem you are talking about... are you just stuck in the Dome or have you found a bug?
EDIT: ZeldaFan001, just curious, are you going to make any kind of review? I remember you said somethingabout making one... :)
Re: Mega Man DWR Director's Cut RELEASED
Oh, my dear Pete, would I ever toy with you in such a manner as to say I found a problem and not have it be an actual problem? Certainly not. No, it's a continue bug. I die, I respawn, and I'm trapped between two screens by invisible blocks. I don't know what your quest does to activate it, but it's certainly an engine bug of some sort. Go down the ladder from the main chamber in the Iso dome, to the room where there's a door at the top and five heavy push blocks in the next screen. I died there, and I respawn at the bottom of the ladder with the aforementioned invisible block conundrum. Try it out for yourself. I'm using 183, just as you recommended. I'll post a screenie if you like.
Re: Mega Man DWR Director's Cut RELEASED
Uh oh... well if you could post a screenie, then please do it. I might already know the problem but I just want to be sure.
I wouldn't want to release any more versions of MMDWR, but if some serious bugs are found, then I have to make a small update soon...

Thank you! I have now played 3 versions of MMDWR and I think 3 versions are enough! I did enjoy all 3! However 3 versions are pushing the limit.
Thanks - Joe
Re: Mega Man DWR Director's Cut RELEASED
Heh, well I think 3 versions are just fine. I hate updates and updating things myself, but MMDWR DC was a necessary update, and so far everybody has agreed with me... I guess.
Hmm, do I have to start a huge advertising campaing to get more replies here or what? :)
