Re: Map Maker 192b183+
Okay, you mentioned starting from scratch; that's what I'm trying to do, but I don't know how (if you haven't guessed I'm a newbie and don't know how to do anything) I can open, but not generate, and I can't open anything, it only gives me the option to do so. My guess is that I have to download something, but what?

Re: Map Maker 192b183+
All mapmaker does is create a bitmap image of the quest you have already designed using ZQuest, the Zelda Classic Custom Quest Editor. Mapmaker wants a QSU file that you can generate with ZQuest by choosing "Export -> Unencoded Quest" from the "File" menu.

But I want something to create quests because I don't know how to change the grafic type (I want pure) for the quest which I want to make.

Re: Map Maker 192b183+
okay, then you need to get the pure tileset from PureZC or wherever, and get it into your quest with the Import functions in the file menu of ZQuest. If you have more trouble in that line, post some questions in this forum

Re: Map Maker 192b183+
Where can I get the "PureZC"?

Re: Map Maker 192b183+
it's not 'the' PureZC, it's just PureZC, a website. here are all the copies and versions of the Pure tileset to date

Re: Map Maker 192b183+
Actually, the tile set I downloaded is saved as a quest, so I had to open it as a quest then save my quest in a different name

Do you need help or something? You sort of sound lost.

Re: Map Maker 192b183+
I threw a page together explaining how to use the mapmaker, find it here
