Could you define 'Level Format Data'? You've kinda thrown me with that statement. (This from the guy who has created a TC of the original Prince of Persia. Smooooooooth.)Quote:

By Level Format Data, I mean a page with detailed information on to where and how levels are stored in the ROM, so that you can edit them. The levels ultimately have some sort of "format" that if you understand, you can edit. Zophar.net under facelifting utilitys should have the Sonic editor that you must pay to register.
Direct X7, it's some kind of generic intregated card, I'll have to check the chipset...Quote:

Emulation and ROMs may be illegal but, who really cares we always do it.
Like I am allergict to cats but I still go near cats and who's to stop me right?
So I download ROMs myself only NES and SNES but hey they're fun and hey Emulation and ROMs are the only known way for me and other people who want rare games to get them such as Lufia 2, DW 3, DW 4 etc. so, ROMs may be the only way I can get rare NES and SNES games especially RPGs.
Yeah, that's why I do it as well - if I don't download them, I'd never get to play them at all. Emulation rules.
Of course, with the Revolution's back catalogue coming, there's every chance that we won't need to download some of them. It's a good opportunity for Nintendo to make some money (they've stated that they'll charge for the games we play, although not much!) while helping people to relieve classics, and I'm all for it. It will, however, mean that I'll have to
A) Delete pretty much all my ROMs and
B) have to buy a million flash cards
But it's a small price (well, not for the flash cards!) and I'm willing to pay it.
If it uses an SD type card, all the ROMs you could download would be able to fit on rather cheap cards easily. You could even spend maybe 60$ or so and get a 1gig card.
There is nothing wrong with emulation, however downloading ROMs is questionable. However if you dump your own games, there is nothing wrong with that in many countries including the USA.
Yeah, but I'd fill up those cards in no time at all. Even if I never play the games, I'll think "Oh, I'd enjoy that" and buy/download it. Businesses love people like me.
Even if they aren't compressed, unless you were downloading a ton of N64 games, it's still pretty hard to fill up a good amount of space since they won't have a selection equal to the entire library for NES SNES and N64.
