Good. So the blue armor cave bug with 2.5 is fixed then. Well Pineconn, I think all of the 2.5 bugs have been worked out. I think. I'll go through again and makesure there are no more 2.5 bugs left.

I am in Lvl 5 B1 Room 13 ( the one with the movable lanterns and the pool of water. I have moved the laterns around many different ways and nothing happens in that room. Am I missing something?
See how the lanterns line up with each other when you push them? There is an item to obtain.
I am having problems with the candle. I have been using it in level three burning bushes but now it has seemed to stop working! What is up with that! Is this a bug? Thanks. Using 2.10.
Eddie
The candle uses magic. Your magic meter just ran out! There is a green bar at the top of the screen, under the health meter. That bar is the magic meter. If it runs out, you won't be able to use items that use magic power. These include the candle, wand, lens, and Din's fire spell. To refil the meter, just pick up those little green jars that some enemies drop.
It's supposed to be difficult for beginners, really. I didn't want to make this task impossible for newbies.Quote:

I'm not sure, but I believe they are 100 rupies. But I'm not sure.
I think the magic upgrades were free - at least the ones I had found were. I forget how much the bombs cost.
why do you guys use map co-ordinates when talking about things when there is no way to see what is where based on this? unless your a heavy quest maker or something you would have no clue of where your talking about.
for some weird reason, i DO have a key on me... i wonder why i never noticed it before god dammit.
EDIT: ok, since i found out i HAD a key, i eventually got to where SoulTexan told me where a obvious key is :P now i need to figure out where to use these 3 keys -.-
Magic upgrades are indeed free. The first bomb upgrade is 25 Rupees, the second is 45, the third is 75, and the final is 100.

For example, the red room is 14 and the green room is 75. If you have the map, it should be easy to tell which room is which.
MUST i go through the zora training grounds to get a key? or is it some other prize?
all doors are shutters mate ;) other wise i would stand in the door ways. thanks for the tip about the healing pads. i kept thinking they would take me backwards and like the last corner you would need to go that way or else be forced back to the start lol.
i think evilly.
hey, so i got the hookshot and uh, can't figure out where to go now... i have no keys left.
EDIT: i figured that out, now the room on the far left in the middle of the 3 im in stuck in... i got to the bottom but cant get out of the room now... i believe i need to bomb the south wall but i got no bombs. and there are no blocks to hookshot to get out of that room.
edit: ok i have gotten everything except the BOSS KEY. i am missing a key for the lock block before the boss key. there is a pool of water with stairs under it, and 2 fire shooters, 2 like likes and 2 red goriyas. how do i lower the water here? i believe that is the key i am missing from beating this dungeon.
^^^^ You have to dive in order to access that stairway.
Yeah, all the doors are shutters in the 1/3/08 update. :D I figured it was too easy, so I "fixed" it.
Question!
Has anyone ever walked into a boss room, and instead of the boss appearing, the Heart Container appeared?
i believe thats a bug in the latest beta then ;) you can;'t enter that stair while diving. could you test/report this in the beta bug reports?
Uh... that looks like a 2.5 bug.
But it works in 2.10! :D
ok, is it possible to get the level 3 sword after/before dungeon 5? is it possible to get the red armor at the same point in the game?
http://www.armageddongames.net/forum...d.php?t=100984 [edit: this link here <--- is kinda wrong for this discussion -_- i meant to link to the "enemy carries item crash" thread]
is the room provided in the picture below related to this bug? if not then i just got a random crash ;\
http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h1...untitled-1.png
Where can I find the book?
Great quest - however I'm starting to feel a little frustrated.
I'm in lvl 5 at the 1st block maze. Seems like I have hit a stone wall and can't seem to find a solution. I'll take any hints or solutions anyone has. If you would prefer to PM me that would be fine.
Thanks
Chip-On
franpa: Sword and armor are later, but I forget how much later. Also, I think that bug is not related to your crash.
gekos: Level 8.
chip_on: Basically, you always have to leave room for yourself to get behind the block to push it. Start by pushing the bottom-right block up.
Hello all! I have finished level 3 and I am working toward level 4. I need to know where is the blue ring and is there anything else I need to do before entering level 4? I have found where to buy more bombs what else? Thanks for the help!
Eddie
the blue ring is found early in the snowy region inside a cave.
Franpa, what is the bug in that room in Level 6? Just a crash?
You're just starting to get frustrated now? :D Heed my words and don't forget them: You'll be pulling your hair out in Level 7... or at least I hope. Every quest needs a hair-puller.Quote:

rank newbie here to zelda classic - for the life of me I cannot figure out how to lift pots in the town, nor open doors on buildings that are shut, or read signs.
What am I missing, something really simple?
TIA
pots you can't pick up but you can slash them with the sword.
Not all people talk , if you stand infront of them and they say nothing then they don't speak to you , atleast not at that point in the quest and maybe not at all during the quest.
Not all houses open , some will open further in the quest , and sometimes you need a bomb
Have fun playing ;)
Hmmm.... it's just odd because all I can do is get the rupee for my new hat, play the gambling, buy some bombs, I've bombed the one room in the house to see all the pots/bats..... talked to the person who said I should go to the house with the blue roof to get the sord, door in the blue roofed house is not open. Pretty much stuck, I don't see what else I can do. I also tried tossing bombs in various places to see if they open and they don't.
Maybe this is a problem with the latest release that was just put out 1/3/08? I've never had any other versions of ZC engine or this quest on my machine before.
TIA
Yeah, you can't open any houses with closed doors. Signs are just for decoration (except for the wall panels in Level 7 -- they are critical).
Remember that ZC started out as a The Legend of Zelda clone, a game released in 1986. ;)

Okay, now for something interesting. How about pronunciations and a little more background?
Narajo (NAR-uh-ho)
Chodina (cho-DINE-uh)
Hestone (HESS-tone)
Sparsi (SPAR-see)
I liked creating fake 3D Zelda overworld and dungeon maps (similar to OoT) when I was younger. These 4 names were created with my last 3D map project about 4 years ago. Also, they indeed did correspond with their respective LttH areas (forest, swamp, etc.). Interestingly, another area was Overcast Heavens, which was a sort of warping hub (which also gave me the idea of the hub dungeon that the Ocarina warps you to). All of this gave me the inspiration of what you see today.
Great job on the redo...now I can't beat Vaati. Thanks a heap.
(Not that it won't eventually happen...it's just taking a few more tries than I thought it would...yeah...that's the ticket...I'm going to go cry now...)
EDIT: Wow, that was quite a ride...only problem is, when I tried to go to Hyrule Castle, it was still the Volcanic Wasteland...
2.10.2...I went through the whole ending and such, talked to Link's mom...I did go and buy potion, so maybe that triggered something.
No, 2.10.1 and 2.10.2 are more buggy then 2.10
