How many angelfire rectangles do you have in your quest sean?!
And layers, well. For each layer, make a screen, transparent for areas you wish to see link through, and opaque for everything else. Now, go to the screen you would like to have a higher layer on, and go to Data> Layers. You will now have the option to choose the map and screen co-ordinates for the higher layers you would like on said screen. Layer 1 & 2 appear below Link, 3 + are over Link, and the highest 2 are above all enemies, including those that can fly.
If Layer 1 & 2 appear below Link, 3 + are over Link, and the highest 2 are above all enemies, including those that can fly, what layer is link on?
Could you explain the rest of it a bit clearer? I am still confused on how to make layers...
Link is on the sprite layer, which is over the base layer, layer 0 & 1, and under the rest :D
I am fairly new to ZC (I've only known about it for two weeks or so), so I missed the new beta download. Are layers only present in that new version, or have I just not looked hard enough?
(I have v1.90, which is the latest that I know of, aside from the aforementioned beta.)
Thanks.
No, version 1.90 does not have layers in it, but the public beta is still able to be downloaded. Here is the link to it http://boards.armageddongames.com/sh...threadid=46842
