Scripting capabilities - day and night
Hello all! Perhaps these questions have been answered before, but since I just found out about the scripting language yesterday due to the Pong article, I thought I would ask here:
Is it possible to change the tileset colour being displayed based on a looping timer, so that 'real-time' day and night could be achieved?
I guess that ended up being only one question! :)

I think that would work, yes. You wouldn't have a lot of colors to work with, though.

Wasn't day and night done earlier by someone using FFCs, timed warps, and carry-overs?

Hm. Different maps though. Maybe something which would change the Dmap's Palette and midi though? I sincerely doubt that's possible, but interesting to think about no less. It's a lot easier to do than screen by screen redrawing. ._O'
