Can someone teach me the basics?
On the screen you want to act as a trigger screen, go to the screen data, and there should be a tab that says stuff like "carry over" and "no reset". Under "carry over", check Secrets, and then on the left, set which map and screen you want the carry over to apply to. This means that when secrets are activated on the first screen, they'll activate on the second as well, so you could hit a switch in a different room to lower a barrier half a dungeon away. Make sure that under screen data you have the "treat as interior" checked on both screens as well, so the secrets don't reset as soon as you leave the room.
