Map Maker 192b183+
You may be wondering what the deal is, when a b183 Zquest hasn't been made available. Simply put, there was a small but annoying bug with mm192b182 which would prevent some screens from being rendered. This release resolves that problem. It is still compatible with b182 QSUs, as well as anything after, for now.
Enjoy!
New around here and confused as to what mapmaker is? Need some help figuring out how to use it? Take a look at Freedom's Mapmaker Tutorial.

It doesn't work for me! I'm on 1.92 182 and it doen't work it keeps on saying there was an error and will now close...
-
Yay. Now it finally works for me. Maybe I should start my quest up again...now that I can give out maps
-
great job, as always fatcat!
EDIT: Hmmm, it seems that every QSU I export from beta 183, always seems to crash the mapmaker whenever I try and open it.
-
to my belief, the map maker for 180 still works all of the way up through 184, if its still available outside of the beta testers. I haven't tried this new one, but i hear its truly buggy.

How do you get the map maker to work?
I opened the program and saw an unencoded quest extension.
-
You open it, and click open. Once you do that, you select a QSU from a folder, then click okay. The grids are rendered, then you select the dmap/map that you want to take a shot of, then select generate.
Then a very large bmp is placed into the folder that you specify.

Okay it works now.
Thanks for the help.

To FatCatFan, is the attatchment a full version? i hope so, because none of the versions work at home. what i do is download at school, burn the copies i want to CD, and take them home and upload them on a 1998 Gateway 200 running Win ME. could it be my PC, or the transport? :annoyed:
