So it seems if you have Diagonal Movement enabled, have the Flippers and attempt to enter a Solid Water combo, it's incredibly buggy or just doesn't work. This is especially noticeable when trying to walk up to enter the water. Walkable Water seems to work fine still. With Diagonal Movement off, there's no problems with the Flippers, only when it's on.
