Since the sideview gravity screen flag was implemented, how come the climbable ladder combo type can't be put in too? Was it too complicated and nearly impossible for the developers to put it in? I would be able to make my own Legacy of the Wizard game. Not everybody can script like me to make a side view ladder function, so I think it would make sense to at least put in a climbable ladder combo type or flag.
Any thoughts or opinions about this? Pass it along!
It wouldn't be a bad idea, though as far as I've seen, new features are no longer being implemented until 2.5 is finished. Beyond that, I don't know what they plan on doing.
There is a script for it somewhere around here, but it is kind of hard to use, and the location values of the ladder must be defined on every screen. Because of this, I think even with the script, it is possible to only have 1 ladder per screen. However, I don't see what would be so hard about making a combo that ignores side view gravity to allow for climable surfaces, but what do I know about the code?
That's what I don't like about scripting. Having to define the location.
