level themes & such
What do you often see as prominent dungeon themes and what theme ideas of your own do you have to offer and what kind of combo-cycling traps would do you have for each?
Examples:
1. Jungle Level: Thorned Plants that hurt you but you can also slash, rising & falling spikes
2. Lightening Stage: Electric Beams, lightening, etc.
3. Fire: Flame Jets, Fireballs leaping from Lava
What kind of theme-specific traps can you think of making using combo cycling? Specifically, for an ice cavern, a haunted dungeon or mansion, and a palace or temple.

you ALWAYS see a fire level, and it's always in a volcano, too. it gets old really fast.
before i lost it (see GB), i was making a sort of swampy level where the walls were holes instead of walls. i also plan on eventually making a dream-style level, where the obsticles would be like, fake walls and floors, invisible walls and floors, doors that take you to different places depending on which way you go through them (you go through and arrive in a room, but when you go back through you're in a third room, then a fourth...)
