Even if the warranty is dead Nintendo will repair it for some sort of fee. It's probably less than a brand new DS. Was it a DS Lite? I always thought they looked flimsy.
My first one fell off a shelf onto a concrete floor and busted a screen when I was in Iraq last time. When I got home, my wife sent it in and got a refurbished one for like, 40 bucks or something like that sent back to us.
OH GOD THERE'S NOT MUCH TIME, BETTER ASK THE INTERNET!
If I were you, I'd run some cold water on it for a couple of minutes to minimize the swelling and reduce the odds that it will go into shock. You're probably going to need to get on the phone with a surgeon and see if he can talk you through the procedure; I've never done it myself so I don't feel good leaving instructions.
HURRY UP MAN EVERY SECOND COUNTS!
Get drunk and call your ex.
Send it to Nintendo for reparis; but warning, expect it to be kinda pricey (like for the Wii they charge about 100 bucks for general repairs :O
Tell ya what - you can get drunk and call my ex. It'll be fun.
Obviously, this is what he meant...silly. ;)
