Inconsistency - String text does not change to red and fades
In the NES: When screen turns red and fades in the death sequence in a dungeon room with string text displayed, the string is colored with the red and fades like the screen.
But in ZC: The string never gets colored and fades. It just remain in a steady white and disappear after the red screen has faded away.
This is with Interpolated Fading quest rule OFF for NES style.
EDIT: See picture in post #6.
Re: Inconsistency - String text does not change to red and fades
Yeah, the NES only has four 3-colors-and-transparent palettes for tiles (equivalent to ZC's csets 0 through 3), and the white is part of "cset 0".
But the red fade covers csets 2 and 3, and everything below the subscreen (that is, in the actual playfield) gets converted to cset 3 a frame or two before the red palette change hits, so the text goes red with the rest. :p

Multi-post to move this up.

Bug continues to occur in 478. A picture will appear momentarily.

Currently red and fading while Link is dying, the text does not get colored and fades, just steady until complete screen fade. Restore the original NES behavior.
