You see this weird crab/lock/armour thing by the boots at the upper left. BigJoe says he drew it but doesn't remember what it was meant to be used for. Does anyone else know?

It kinda looks like some kinda mask to me, maybe some kind of scuba thing to help link breathe underwater?
Maybe some kind of rupee wallet?
Maybe a ring?
Crossbow?

Well I've seen people enter other people's minds on TV and they aren't Vulcan, so there are other ways. Maybe take him a person who can help him retrieve lost memories, whatever they are called.

Clearly it's the Amulet 2. Link makes Ganon wear the ankle bracelet, allowing him to always know where he is. If he tries to leave Level 9 or remove it, it'll alert the authorities and he goes back in the Evil Jar.
