To be fair we have very vivid imaginations around here.

We’re all just figments of someone’s deranged imagination.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was mine honestly.

That silent hard drive mockery thing never stopped me.

I'm maniacal as all hell, gullible, and internally conflicted, but I still gamedev. What's your excuse?

Some part of me wishes that SSDs made clicky-clack noises. :(You mean like the old floppy drives used to do? Why would you want that kind of racket?

Now that would just be silly. I meant like an old mechanical hard drive, circa late 80's.

I didn’t have a hard drive in those days. Back then most home computers barely had more than one floppy drive. I owned an Atari ST with a built-in floppy drive and later a Commodore 64 with an external floppy drive. I don’t even totally recall if Atari made hard drives for the ST computers. I know Commodore did but I couldn’t afford one.

I am reading my posts here over the last few years and just want to say ....I am not an AI. I totally write like an AI.

I wouldn’t know , I don’t think I ve read many of your posts. I wasn’t here back in the day, you can see from my join date to the left. So I wouldn’t have interacted with you before.

From some of the stuff you posted back in the day that I vaguely remember, I doubt that an AI would have thought of most of, if not all of it.
