I'm sucking at Gleeok's 6th quest, and have played more than 999 games. Now there's no way to know exactly how many I've played without keeping count myself

I should be able to fix this in the next build. Whew. > 999 games. We have a new record. No-one has ever reached that in the past.

Please try this version, and post a screenshot:

Replace zelda.exe with this, and rename it to zelda.exe. The new cap should be 99,999, but it should also reflect your true death count as soon as you run the new binary.

Whoops. I only fixed part of it. Here's a final fix:

You can try https://openzc.org, or just post it anywhere and link to it, or record it and post it to youtube.

Glad that it works for you. This patch will be in the next set of releases.

Did you finish the quest, and f so, what was your final death count?
