New year and we are into it with a fresh Nintendo Direct. Video link below.

Highlights include several updates n current Switch titles in the coming months. There also release dates for some previously announced, yet to released titles (a list will be included at the end of the post for convenience via a Spoiler tag for the sake of post length) and some reveals for previously unannounced titles. The talk of the direct though that would be of most interest to this forum however due to its history stemming from one of Nintendo's biggest franchises, is the announcement of a remake of Legend of Zelda - Link's Awakening for the Switch to be released some time this year.
As for my opinions on the announcements, I am excited for the localization of Dragon Quest 11 and Dragon Quest Builders 2 for the Switch as well as the LoZLA announcement. I think the visual style they chose suits the game well and look forward to revisiting Koholit Island and to awaken to Windfish again and would love to see what potential additions yet to be revealed there could be.
